Launching THRIVE24: Designing for Impact with a One-of-a-Kind Event

Objective

For THRIVE24, AppDirect had an opportunity at the annual user conference to reinforce their brand, showcase thought leadership and encourage participants to share how they grow and scale their businesses with AppDirect.

The objective: Establish the AppDirect brand as an industry leader with a one-of-a-kind event.

That’s why they turned to a partner they could trust – Encore.

“The success I’ve seen in the partnership between Encore and AppDirect is the fact that they were able to come in so early in the process and be a true partner with us,” says Christie Coleman, senior director of growth marketing, AppDirect. “[They] made sure we brought our vision to life.”

Solution

Encore became an extension of the AppDirect team, recommending a personalized range of creative, production and technology solutions that would deliver the best return on investment and experience.

Encore solutions included:

  • Designing an immersive general session experience with an LED wall, imaginative staging, and expertly rigged lighting and sound to increase emotional impact and engagement with the content delivered.
  • Incorporating AppDirect’s motion graphics and other branded images to reinforce the AppDirect brand and keep the audience engaged.
  • Assigning a producer to coordinate all Encore solutions, personnel, and resources and a stage manager to streamline general session logistics.
  • Enhancing the educational impact of the event with flawlessly executed sessions and easy-to-read digital signage.

Result

Encore and AppDirect became true collaborative partners on THRIVE24. Together, they crafted a personalized experience that established Thrive as a must-attend annual event.

As a result:

  • Nearly 1,000 participants attended THRIVE24 from around the globe.
  • Encore received a customer satisfaction score of 4.42 out of 5.
  • This first-time collaboration will become a long-term partnership.

“Having worked with Encore, now [they] know how we work,” Coleman says. “As we start to plan for larger events, Encore’s going to know how to come in at the beginning to help us plan in the way that’s going to be suited to help us grow and scale our events in the future.”
